My name is Stephan. As an Experience and Interaction Designer, I create innovative software with human-centered design. At any stage of the product development lifecycle, I strengthen ideas and deliver results with a research-driven methodology. Through interviews, prototyping, and experimentation, I efficiently derive essential customer insight. Guided by data, I design tailored web and mobile experiences that give users a feeling of familiarity and empowerment. I work independently or in tandem with your team to transform concepts into success-ready products.

Faba Network co-founder Jörg Wasmeier and I spent 48 solid hours programming our hearts out at the 2017 SIX Hackathon in Zurich, Switzerland, alongside 160 other teams of coders, designers, marketers, and sales specialists. This annual competition, the largest of it’s kind in Europe, challenges participants to develop boundary-pushing financial technology software within a two-day time limit. Our friction-less payment concept prevailed, thrusting us into the spotlight. Following the Hackathon, we were honored to present the prototype on stage at Switzerland’s premier FinTech conference, Finance 2.0.

An idea is only as powerful as it is fun. We naturally seek tools which allow us a feeling of play while we work. We want beautiful tools that give us a sense of fluency and ease. An elegant user experience creates feelings of comfort, curiosity, and possibility. Don’t just make a useful app, make a playful one.
